Giant Mealworms are an excellent bait for pan fishing and trout.  Their hard exoskelton keeps them on the hook.  They average 1 – 1.25 inches  in length.  Giant Mealworms are shipped in cloth bags in summer months and in wheat bran in colder months.  Wheat bran which they use as their bedding.  They will last for 1-2 months if refrigerated.  Giant Mealworms are a staple feeder bug for turtles and small mammals.

Please note that due to their rearing Giant mealworms will not pupate and breed readily.  If you would like to breed your own mealworms we recommend our standard mealworms.
