How We're Different
N.A.S. Inc. was founded in 1981 by William “Woody” and Terry Overmyer. Our founders settled in the small lakeside community of Marblehead, OH where they started a small bait and tackle store close to a newly constructed public boat launch. Owning a small bait and tackle shop was not easy but eventually, they grew the business into one of the largest local live bait distributors in the area. Today we continue to service over 350 local bait and tackle stores, gas stations, and convenience stores within a 100 mile radius of our location in Marblehead, Ohio.

When Will My Order Ship?
Orders are usually shipped the same day if order by 12:00 pm EST. Orders placed after 12:00 P.M. will ship the following business day. We ship live bait Monday thru Wednesday to all areas. We ship live bait on Thursdays to all areas within 2-day Priority Mail service from Marblehead, OH. We do not ship live bait on Friday or Saturdays.
How Is My Order Shipped?
We ship primarily using US Postal Service Priority Mail. We do use UPS, FedEx and USPS First Class mail as well. We have found that all carriers lose packages and delay shipments. However, USPS Priority Mail offers the fastest service for the most reasonable cost.
How Is Live Bait Packaged?
We ship Canadian and European Nightcrawlers in Muslin Cloth bags to reduce shipping cost and environmental concerns due to Styrofoam. Other baits come packaged in plastic cups with enough bedding to last approximately 3-4 weeks. We add Ice packs/ heat packs at no additional cost when necessary to guarantee our live bait arrives alive and healthy.

Do You Ship Internationally?
It depends, some live bait can be shipped internationally. International order must call us at 419-656-4921 to discuss order and shipping arrangements.
